Students in the 7th and 8th grade life skills’ class taught by Megan Roach, recently took a trip to the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh to close out their month-long study of the planets in the universe. Students agreed that the field trip was a perfect way to end the unit on the universe.
Ms. Roach said her class truly learns from doing, and it was evident that the trip to the science center made quite an impact on the students after what they had studied and done with the posters in class.
