New Scoreboard Dedication
At the homecoming game on Friday, September 30th, the new digital scoreboard donated by 84 Lumber was dedicated in memory of Wash High alum Caleb Jackson who was killed in a motorcycle accident in May 2021. After graduation in 2020, Jackson had worked at 84 Lumber where his sister, Deja Glemba, works as an assistant to owner Maggie Hardy Knox.
Speaking at the dedication, Deja commented how much her brother Caleb loved playing football and basketball as a Prexie and he spent many hours at the stadium throughout his high school career. Having the scoreboard in his memory is an appropriate way to keep his spirit alive.
Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Mike Bosnic and Superintendent George Lammay also spoke at the pre-game dedication ceremony remembering Caleb Jackson and thanking 84 Lumber.
