Students and Board Honored
Five students were recognized by the principals and administration at the January 9th school board meeting. Nominated by their teachers for Student of the Month were (seated l to r): sixth-grader Amaya Melone and second- grader Jade MacFarlane. Standing left to right: senior Mackenzie Burch; eighth-grader Jordyn Carter-Green; and senior Michael Shallcross.
The Washington School Board was also thanked and recognized for their commitment to the district by Superintendent George Lammay. January is National School Directors' month.
