IMPACT Women's Summit Brings Current and Future Leaders Together

 Wash High young women, escorted by the high school's guidance counselors, took part in the first Women's Roundtable, "IMPACT," sponsored by Washington and Jefferson College in partnership with Highmark on March 30th. The one-day "IMPACT" summit offered "Intentional Mentoring to Provide Action, Change, and Transformation" or IMPACT, by empowering personal development and networking experience; celebrating women's leadership by bringing together women business leaders, college and high school students.
 
      Attendees heard the career stories of women executives, participated in interactive mentoring activities, and reflected on their own leadership abilities. Keynote speakers were Maisha Sturdivant, Vice President, Operations (Health Plan Operations) at Highmark, and Washington High School alumna, India March (class of 2014), Creative Operations Manager for Madison Square Garden. They highlighted the importance of creating impact through your unique leadership journey.
