Breakfast with Santa - A Great Time for All!

Children with SantaThe Grinch, Amy Roberts, Child and Cindy Lou Who
Students, parents, grandparents, teachers, elves, helpers and of course, Santa Claus had a great time at the annual Breakfast with Santa held at the Park School on Saturday, Dec. 3. Besides a pancake breakfast to start the day, participants could visit with Santa, play games, hear stories, do arts and crafts, and check out the vendors displayed in the gym to buy some gifts.
Ray Neller is in Ms. Young's third grade class and he got to see Santa in the cafeteria after sharing his pancake breakfast with his family. Pleased to see Santa, Ray gave a big smile for the camera. He told Santa that he "likes video games, art, and I love to build things, so Legos are good." Santa then made his way to the auditorium and visited with many children.
Wandering the halls at Washington Elementary were two other holiday favorites -- The Grinch and Cindy Lou Who. They posed with Mrs. Amy Roberts and her daughter Piper, a Washington Elementary student. Mrs. Roberts is President of the Washington Park PFO and coordinated Breakfast with Santa. It was obvious to all that the event was success. She also serves on the school board.
Vendors sold a variety of items in the gym, including candles, ornaments, original paintings, baked goods, and of course, Prexie items to fit the season.
